Overall Rank = 112/289

Pre-race routine:

Usual breakfast, 2 Ego waffles, 2 hours before race start. Worked out OK

Event warmup:

Jogged around parking a lot, short distances, 4 or 5 times. Wore tights and tee shirt. Shed base layer during warmups, sensed I would be too warm during run and I was correct.

Comments:

Race included the longest hill and incline I have ever run. It was challenging for me. Max effort, finished strong.

What would you do differently?:

Nothing

Post race

Warm down:

Hammer Recoverite, 1/2 banana, small bagel, water

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing.

Event comments:

Great facilities at the Strongsville Recreation & Senior Complex. Well organized. Everything went well, awards and posting of results online after event. Timing Chips used.

Excellent race Leo!  Sounds like a nice race too.  I've never done a chip timed race (yet).

Glad you didn't get wet too!
